Photography Project
In the 4-H Photography projects, you will learn:
- how to successfully prepare for and give public presentations;
- how to use creative ways to communicate your ideas and information;
- how to display a stronger self-image and feelings of safety when trying new things; and
- skills such as decision-making, getting along with others, self-responsibility, planning and organizing.

Level 1 - Juniors (Ages 8-10)
- Focus on Photography allows you to explore the world of photography as you focus in on the basics of equipment, taking pictures, and the concepts of lighting and using a flash. Available through National
4-H Council.
Level 2 - Intermediates (Ages 11-13)
- Controlling the Image lets you explore advanced concepts including depth of field, apertures and shutter speeds, hard and soft lighting, and flash techniques. Available through National 4-H Council.
Level 3 - Seniors (Ages 14-18)
- Mastering Photography lets you explore more advanced concepts including wide-angle and telephoto lenses, filters, special films, light meters and the use of different light sources. Available through National 4-H Council.
